Some studies indicate that antioxidants protect your cells against the effects of free radicals. Grape Skin Extract and Grape Seed Extract are also a rich source of naturally occurring antioxidants (Diabetes.co.uk). Magnesium Bisglycinate helps your body convert glucose from your food into energy. This helps ensure that your body is using insulin effectively. There are studies that claim a regular intake of magnesium shows a 22% lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes than those who have consumed little or no magnesium.
