Metabolics Children's B Complex Liquid is unparalleled in its composition, a specifically formulated blend of eight B vitamins in doses suitable for children, which when diluted in a glass of water or squash has a neutral flavour so children will happily consume it in a drink.

All of the B vitamins in this children's vitamin complex are in forms that the body can absorb readily and be directly utilised by the body without requiring conversion in the enterocytes or the liver before being released into the general circulation. This is the Metabolics difference where, instead of using cheaper forms of vitamins that need to be converted to their active coenzymes, the B Complex Liquid gets to work right away.

Why are B vitamins important?

The Metabolics B Complex Liquid solution contains the following B vitamins:

The vitamin B12 in Metabolics B Complex Liquid is made up of methylcobalamin, which is the active coenzyme form necessary for any biological activity, and adenosylcobalamin. These forms have been chosen for the way in which they are utilised by cells instead of the more frequently used cyanocobalamin, which is often cheaper and a synthetic/man-made form B12.

This Children’s B Complex liquid is designed to deliver appropriate daily amounts for children based upon the UK Government recommendations for vitamins for ages 4 – 18 years as determined by Public Health England.

It is also possible to use this supplement in children age 1-3 years old, but the dose should be reduced to half a teaspoon (2.5ml).
