Metabolics botanical/plant food supplements consist of botanical preparations used as ingredients for food supplementation. Echinacea angustifolia is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family - Asteraceae. It is also known as the American coneflower. It is a perennial plant, meaning it lasts for many years. It is approximately 1-2 feet (30-60 centimetres) tall when mature. It is slightly spiky and has large purple to pink flowers, depending on the species. The centre of the flower has a seed head (cone), which is also spiky and dark brown to red in colour.

All species of this plant contain compounds called phenols. Echinacea also contains alkylamides or alkamides, (not in Echinacea pallida), as well as polysaccharides, glycoproteins, and caffeic acid derivatives.

Directions / Dosage
Liquid
Take 30 drops in water, 1-3 times a day with food. The stated recommended dose can be changed as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed this recommended dose. Shake well before use. Consume within 3 months of opening.
