L Helveticus is a good bacterium that can survive environmental temperatures and low pH, giving them the ability to survive the GI tract and adhere to the intestinal cells and antagonise pathogens.
Clinical studies have demonstrated positive effects of the bacterium interacting with humans of increasing bioavailability of nutrients and producing bioactive peptides through the digestion of food proteins, so influencing health.
This bacterium acts synergistically with L Rhamnosus. It has been awarded a QRP (Qualified presumed safe status by the EFSA based on the “body of knowledge” on it and the safe use in the food chain.
This product is suitable for vegetarians.
