GAP 3 contains 3 enzymes, Fungal amylase, Alpha Galactosidase and Phytase.

Fungal Amylase is comparable to human amylase, the enzyme that humans need to break down carbohydrates.

Alpha Galactosidase is an enzyme that can break down oligosaccharaides, which are complex types of carbohydrate molecules such as raffinose and stachyose. Raffinose is found in those well known gas producing foods such as beans, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and whole grains. They are large molecules that are difficult to digest.

Phytase is an enzyme that digests phytic acid that is present in plant fibre. Phytic acid binds to good minerals in our diet such as calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese which decreases their absorption in the GI tract.

Recommended dose: 1 capsule at the start of a meal.
